I just purchased this bike for my 3 year old son. Who was asking me every day "Mommy can I ride your bike" well I have a Suzuki 1000 and he didn't understand why I didn't share this bike with him.. I went to Target and saw this miniature bike and he was in LOVE!!.. he is only 3 years old and at this age he definitely couldn't balance on it but I got training wheels professionally put on and the speed was a lil to fast for now so I had them slow it down for a bit until he gets the hang of it. Im hoping by next year I can take off the training wheels and let him ride it at the normal speed so I can then upgrade him to a bigger one.. but over all.. I've made a great choice.
